Each year in April, some of the best Tennessee Walking Horses from around the world are matched in the Mississippi Charity Horse Show. The Charity Show began in 1930 and has been the venue for many world champions. This event is a grand celebration of the breed, as well as a premier society event for the state of Mississippi. The show proceeds always benefit a worthy charity.
This 80 year old event is dedicated in helping Mississippi charities and at the same time offers a great horse show and plenty of hospitality. For 2010, the Mississippi Charity Horse Show has selected Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children as the show’s charity.
